The Crowne Plaza hotel in Farmington Hills is open after a multimillion-dollar renovation to transform it into a business lodging and meeting center.
The 90,000-square-foot hotel at 37529 Grand River Ave. was rebranded from a Holiday Inn & Suites as InterContinental Hotels Group invests $200 million into renovations of its U.S. properties. With a revenue of $1.78 billion last year, the British hospitality company operates 5,300 hotels in 100 countries under several brands.
