Fifty Founders Brings Kiip Founder Brian Wong to Detroit

Posted on July 24, 2013

A new event series called Fifty Founders has arrived to Detroit, bringing successful digital entrepreneurs from across the country to speak to local entrepreneurs. The first event will feature Brian Wong, Founder of Kiip. Kiip is a category-creating mobile rewards network that rewards across different applications.

The goal of the monthly event series is to introduce Michigan’s entrepreneurial community to leading digital entrepreneurs. The event will take place in Downtown Detroit on July 26th from 6-9 pm.

“Fifty founders interviews are designed to go deeper than articles on each entrepreneur’s story and break down their challenges, failures and success so that others can gain deep insight on critical topics,” said Delane Parnell, creator of the series.

Brian Wong founded Kiip in the summer of 2010 and has since raised over $15.4 million in funding from prominent investors including True Ventures. He’s been featured in Business Insider’s Top 25 under 25 in Silicon Valley and other news outlets.
