Farmington Hills, Michigan (February 12, 2013) – Friedman Integrated Real Estate Solutions, one of the nation’s leading providers of commercial real estate services, recently held its fourth annual Canned Food Drive to benefit the Lighthouse of Oakland County. For two weeks, Friedman employees donated non-perishable food items, and raised funds for the cause. Friedman successfully collected over 2,480 pounds of food during the course of this year’s canned food drive.
“We are thrilled to be donating over one ton of food for the less fortunate in our community,” said Stan Finsilver, Executive Vice President of Friedman. “Every year, we make it our goal to surpass the previous year’s record, and we have succeeded in our efforts each drive. We are all very proud of this accomplishment.” Stan is also a sponsor of Friedman’s employee-run Charitable Committee, which meets several times a year to discuss future charitable initiatives for the company. With such a colossal start for Friedman’s charitable initiatives for 2013, the Canned Food Drive is sure to be the catalyst for Friedman’s future charitable efforts this year.
