Groesbeck Hwy., in Mt. Clemens, Michigan. The landlord, Mattia Properties, LLC, leased the space to Dolgencorp, LLC., who will be using the space to open a new Dollar General store in the spring of 2011.
Friedman Associate Al Ellis represented the landlord in the transaction. “Dollar General is currently the largest and one of the fastest-growing retailers in the United States with over 9,200 stores in 35 states,” Ellis said. “As the Michigan economy continues its prolonged recovery, value-priced retailers like Dollar General are playing a significant role in the retail marketplace .
